http://peplers.blogspot.com/2008/12/making-stool.html Used a GoPro HD Hero to film this timelapse, using a Husqvarna 346xp chainsaw to make a stool out of a single log. I've got another longer video with me explaining the process of making a stool: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3IwOig7sw6c

Stills and video edited using JPEGCrops, VirtualDub and Windows Live Moviemaker. Royalty-free music by Kevin McLeod (incompetech.com).

  • @art4med You're right, four legged stools are harder to make stable. However, this stool doubles up as a 'saw horse' when turned upside down, so needs to have four legs - check out my other (longer) video of making this stool - at the end I use it as a saw horse.

  • Sorry, but it would look better and be easier to stabilize if it were three legs.
