An overview of the 7 principles of Kwanzaa: Umoja, Kujichagulia, Ujima, Ujama, Nia, Kuumba, and Imani. (Unity, Self-determination, Collective work/Responsibility, Cooperative Economics, Purpose, Creativity, and Faith)

This was a very simple and RUSHED school project. I was given a sheet of paper with some words on it. I found some friends to read them off. If there are any mistakes or misunderstandings, I'm sorry. I claim no intentions concerning history, nor political correctness. The people in the video are just quoting what I gave to them.

  • a bunch of college freshmen/sophomores!

  • High school students, actually

  • AWESOME JOB! Great work, very informative to the layman.

  • Thanks! I'm glad you think so :)

  • Lol, I know it's solely an african holiday, and it's all because of the struggle they went through because of the way whites discriminated, BUT it's not racist as if all the people who celebrate it hate whites... Trust me, I've done my fair share of research ;) Thanks alot for the comment though! Oh! Pssst... And just for the record: *whispers* I wouldn't have made this video if it wasn't required for school ;)

  • For some reason, I like Imani the least!

Excuse my ignorance, this is only my .02cents worth, but I wish we could replace "Faith" with Knowledge of our ancestors!

I believe one of the roots of Western culture stems from Egypt, the pyramids, writing, spirituality and older "traditional" African traditions. I think we should acknowledge this.

  • every single one of the principles were said wrong...

  • You tell him, Sons of Light.

Long before their so-called civilization, Africans did things that they weren't expexcting us to do, because they felt so threaten and humilated.

These people are about comedy and nothing else.

  • Would it matter if I was?

You don't see people calling Eistein " Doctor Einstein"

  • Do you mean do I have " Doctoral Degree"?

Doctor is not some fucking kingship title you neanderthal.

I think my age gives away the fact that I don't have a doctoral degree.

No jackass, I don't have a PHd, nor have I been around long enough to receive one.

But I do enjoy software and hardware troubleshooting.

And don't worry none of that shitty Bestbuy geeksquad shit, I do real trouble shooting.

I'm smart enough to check if my hard drive is plugged into the right SATA.

  • Again did you make yourself a doctor.

Go and fart across your room at home.

  • >Implying U not Mad.

  • Is that the best you got, worthless asshole.

  • >Implying I ever called myself god

    >Implying you aren't calling the kettle black.

  • Are you a doctor?

You look at your moronic loony tuned life, because you've been murdering, indoctornating, corrupting and telling other packs of lies in order to say that you are so-called God etc; so for you to call someone that you are well known for and what you are, it is so full of laughter.
