  • @fenderboy88 Yes it would work well if you legalized prostitution.

  • @Charlesperalo Of course prostitution is another one of those hot button issues,i do not understand why it should be illegal.

Legalising Prostitution would actually reduce violence that prostitutes face in the underworld,it seems to be working in Vegas.

  • @Charlesperalo How do you do that though....its not easy to tell people that the drug war makes things worse and increases organised crime, politicians like to be moral crusaders.

I think many people were expecting Obama to end the drug war or least partially,he doesnt even favor medical marijuana but i guess he doesnt have the courage to take a stand.

People should be free to make thier own choices even though it may be foolish and looked down upon by other people

  • @fenderboy88 Well look the war on drugs is a bomb and if he can convince people that making marijuana illegal will reduce the problem people will back him.

  • @Charlesperalo With you there and im not American but the problem is that politicians wont dare touch the drug war because they are worried of not getting elected.

Republicans wont dare cut defence even though it doesnt make much sense for a military build up right now in America so the military budget becomes too big and wasteful.

Republicans[most] are only pseudo conservative not ''classical liberal'' like Milton Friedman or Hayek.

  • I'm a young Libertarian Republican who advocates school vouchers, ending the war on drugs, putting a cap on military spending, making entitlements an opt out, against Iraq and Afghanistan, abolishing unconstitutional goverment departments, for massive government reform, for drilling, for Libertarian healthcare reform, and I'm for just changing things with a new direction.

  • Didn't you listen to the interview? He thinks people should be free to make choices as long as those choices don't cause harm to others.

  • Gary Johnson 2012!

  • I don't think his stance on marijuana has anything to do with the use of it, but the fact that the war on drug cost the government so much money.
