There will not be a book 4, begin next year, 2012, there will be a new avatar series,

called Avatar: the legend of Korra, wich features the new avatar, from the southern water tribe named Korra. check out avatar wiki

@destroyer999111 Hey, Aang sure defeated the fire lord but its still in the end of the beginning. They got to get the southern fire nation and get rid of the fire nation which are in the earth kingdom territory, and also Aang has to restore his people back.

seeing fanfiction of A:TLA makes me think of my friend Ghost of Zeon's fancharacter...who's name escapes me. honestly...considering what i know of said chara...A:TLA woulda had a different set of 'best episodes of all' list if Zeon's chara was actually in the show. why? first of all, he can fake having avatar power through his airbending. second, he can CUT with airbending. lastly, blowing a forest to pieces with a bomb of super-compressed air. plus...he makes guns. yeah. fire nation beware.

@rockerszoom3 Aang told them that the original airbenders were the flying bisons... As you can see, three of the four elements can be bend by animals. The only element that can't be bended by an animal, is water. As you may know, the first waterbender was the moon.

In one of the episodes of the book three, when Zuko is trying to teach Aang firebending, but could'nt because he switch sides and joing the Avatar. Toph told him, (Zuko) that he needed to look for the original source of firebending. She also told him, she learned earthbending from the baggermoles, (I don't know how to spell it) the big animals the could bend the earth. Zuko told her, that the original benders of fire, were the drangons.
