anyone got to connect thier pc to the box?? why have ethernet and usb if its dead... stupid virgin again

@DrSteveHolt usb is for external harddrives for recording movie tv shows but virgin haven't enabled this due to copyright complaints from broadcasters. Ethernet is for connecting to a modem instead of having 2 seperate cables as some engineers prefer to do that depending on drilling through walls etc.

Thanks I miss V+HD the box looked so much nicer but I'm hooked on the new TiVo features why can't virgin bring out a TiVo that looks like V+ with numbers on the front as well

@so154jg I have M+ TV, L broadband & XL Phone. We never have any problems and broadband is very fast. I think your PC/Mac might not be set up to conect properly. Also it ain't that expensive.

BTW, You need to set your video settings on the box to 1080i Wide not 1080i

@BestM8ts12 Yes, it's slightly faster. It had a problem a month ago with the recording tuner, but a software update fixed it.

i have the old v+ box the Scientific-Atlanta Explorer 8300DVB

and its slow, will this one be fast?
