Beautiful craftsmanship! I'm curious, what is the purpose of the three holes at the knife butt? I've seen this on other knives. I would assume they are for attaching a lanyard, but they appear to be too small for that, and it would only require one hole. I hope that is not a dumb question. Anyway, I really enjoyed watching the entire process. Thanks for posting this.

The larger of the holes will hold a lanyard...the others not so much. To small. But they are mostly for decorative effect. Just something different I guess.
