  • @Wharwulif but life expectancy was still lower in those times than now.

In short, it is just that we don't ban cars for vehicular manslaughter. It is just wrong in that sense.cars have absolutely nothing to do with vehicular manslaughter, because if there were no cars, there would be other ways to kill people.Did Nazis use very advanced techniques for their mass murder? I don't think so.

  • @sinachiniforoosh Human misuse of science is a side affect by itself which should be considered while dealing with it.

I'm not blaming science for the past,I'm speaking about the certain tools that they got that made things easier, gave them a certain peace, yet eventually led to their collapse.

While suffering is a common of ages, remember that in some ages it was Far greater shown in some places(Dark ages) and some had a form of stability for a while (Roman empire)The lower class=Tormented ones.

  • @Wharwulif those side effects were not results of science, they were results of human misuse of science, which itself was because of their lack of knowledge of science itself.Weather they "reached a rather impressive peek of their ages" needs sources, it's just a claim you make.Life then was full of suffering. You are blaming the wrong thing.

  • @sinachiniforoosh If you want to get what I'm saying, simply check the success of ancient civilizations who developed a rather effective economy and system, and check what exactly happened to them, remember that all of them reached a rather impressive peek of their ages.

See what they resulted in,see how they got to the result-and then realize a part of why I think Science is a tool in hands of fool.

Science also had major side affects, which then science is trying to solve in urgency today.

  • @Wharwulif you just shower me with a lot of sentences displaying your opinion which I don't see any reason to believe.Science has helped us all the way to here, and I just don't see how you can say "science is a tool in the hands of fool".

  • @sinachiniforoosh Science by itself does not promote anything besides "learning how stuff works",I'm aware of that.

Again-science is a tool in the hands of a Fool,also-you should really check the Side-affect phenomena,it tends to turn everything upside down has far has "better" goes.

Science-based development does not fit humans at the moment,And the bad usage of technology and discoveries is obvious everywhere and turns the entire thing into a profit machine alone, which is rather embarrassing.

  • @Wharwulif Atomic bombs are not the only consequence of science. The better consequences are a LOT more. What must be done, is to try to show people why they should not hurt eachother people, as you put it in, are not kids, they may be brainwashed, but only a very small fraction of them is.Saying that the progress of science is the cause and therefore it must be stopped is like saying cars are the primary cause of vehicular manslaughter and therefore they must be banned.

  • @Wharwulif "memory and mechanical/logical thinking"you really should revisit your views about science. Awareness of the world does result in awareness of what is right and what is wrong to do.You can logically deduce why is it wrong to hurt other people.

  • @sinachiniforoosh Tell me what is Wisdom in your terminology first,so that we will be sure we speak about the same thing here.

I mean by "control of findings" is to beware of any other "atom bomb" case,in other words-some proven theories best be kept aside,or it will simply be a very bad idea.

Science should be spread equally to all but with it must be spread awareness, critical thinking and long-term affects, unless you add those-you end with people not thinking about what they do-ends in "bomb".

  • @sinachiniforoosh Knowledge does not promote wisdom,is simply promote memory and mechanical/logical thinking, yet not wisdom.

You can teach a person everything there is,yet giving someone power without teaching the person massively about being careful with it,is giving a gun to a child...It's simply is a poor idea.

Knowledge does not create morality or responsibility, knowledge is eventually just Power. Some knowledge can Aid to moral causes, yet it does not create them.

    Again-bad/good=ViewPoint.
