Red Ronin: 24 Hour Collab

With permission from RicePirate and RedHarvest, i've been allowed to submit this to youtube! Huzzah!

Set to an original musical score, 13 Newground artists were given 24 hours to bring to life their interpretation of the world of the Samurai.

Mystical, violent, and sometimes humorous ... welcome to the world of Red Ronin.

The 24 Hour Collab (or 24HRC) is the brainchild of Newground's artist, RedHarvest. Both a challenge and exercise in pressure-driven animation, the 24HRC is meant to push artists beyond their comfort zone, in order to create the best possible work within the shortest amount of time. Often, the artistic goals are lofty, and while the artists may not succeed in perfecting their vision, in testing their boundaries, they learn skills and techniques that will no doubt influence their future work to come.

Original music is another part of the 24HRC, as the project is meant to be a true collaboration of Newgrounds talent. This custom-made score serves as the backbone for the strategic planning behind all the madness.

Artists, both reputable and unsung, are welcome to take part in this project, which always guarantees a wide range of talents and styles. We hope you enjoy our 2nd 24HRC, and we look forward to the future of this insane and wrist breaking series.
