I Really Enjoyed this video.. It was very imformative. My father had a stroke recently and this really showed me some vital facts that I can use considering that I am a nursing student.
ah, indeed i just read a study that says that childhood strokes are under recognized even though they are as common as childhood brain tumors and any type of childhood cancer
BTW, possible cause of stroke in the age of 12 might be IMHO e.g. genetic abnormality or gained abnormality during adolescence (either injury or bad development of person's brain/veins).
I didn't catch any note regarding other diseases e.g. multiple sclerosis in this video. Don't get me wrong, I think it's good video, but when mentioning two seizures, shouldn't you mention other possible causes? Time 2:10 your saying "person is having an epilepsy". I would be more cautious saying that. Shouldn't you say that when having two seizures after stroke in a short time, you most probably have epilepsy? That would be more correct IMHO. What do you think? Am I totally wrong, or not?
