  • Hmm sounds crap without the music!

  • Ah well, you can't have everything can you? Anyway, overall, C64 had far superior games than most 8 bit systems anyway, for starters, in the stunning sounds & music of the mighty SID chip, that's a winner hands down, even before you talk about any actual games. Wizball - amazing, Parallax - amazing, the Last Ninja series - amazing, Arkanoid - amazing, Creatures 1&2 - amazing fun games with ace grfx & sounds, Mayhem In Monsterland, ACE platform game which showed off what the 64 can really do..Etc

  • @blade004 My mistake, I meant no SFX for R-Type. Yes they have them, but The SFX in Rtype are bullshit and are overpowered by the music. The music is good, but the lack of SFX ruins it.

as for Nemesis, having to toggle music on/off is dumb and European.

Every system had a ton of shit games, yes. However, Konami games should not be part of the shit. The C64 versions of these are pretty crapass. Not as bad as Sidearms though. That one is by far the worst.

  • @Arkhandroid Nemesis on the C64 "did" have music, you had to press the relevant keys if you wanted it on or off!. R-Type also had music during game play on the C64 so what fucking drugs have you been smoking?. And EVERY system has a TON of shit games, what's your point?.

  • @Ironlord2015 Sorry Ironlord, that comment was meant for the American dick head with his head firmly wedged up his conceited arse ;).

  • Wow, I never played this one but it looks cool!

  • takes me back a bit this game. If i remember correctly in the arcade even if you reached the Number 1 score on the score table the game would still shout "What a load of crap" at the end. this would frustrate my dad no end so he would put more money in. haha

  • Jesus, it's only a computer game!, Wots with all the aggression ? Lol , chill.... :-)

  • @Arkhandroid

I had this game, and Salamander, on the PC-Engine. Fantastic on that machine and the version of choice until my MMX Pentium laptop with Sparcade for DOS (so I had those two and Vulcan Venture playing all the time in arcade quality in late 90s)

  • @Ironlord2015 Typical. dumbass. brit. IM NOT GOING TO WASTE ANY MORE OF MY TIME ON YOU. MY TIME HERE IS DONE, BUT ILL BE SURE TO CHECK FOR REPLIES AND COME COMMENT ANYWAYS BECAUSE IM A HUGE GOPPING TWAT.

let me know when you can form an informed argument. I'm guessing it will be never because you're balls deep in some tea sipping tool, whispering C64 praise in his ear while you fondle his sack.
