  • I could land one of these with no problem. Oh, wait, thats because I'm a pilot with Northwest airlines.

  • maybe after you get ATPL you can say this ;) Just because you play MS Flight Sim does not mean that you could manage a real Sim or plane. I love planes too, and I fly the Wilco A320 in FSX since 1.5 years, and read many books and trained on many different stuff like weather, and aerodynamics, etc but that doesn't mean I could dare to say I'm able to fly the real thing. It's much much more to it.

  • After a brief struggle I swung my fist at his chest and regained control of the plane. I warned him that the next time he was going to touch the controls I would wrap his mic around his neck and make a banner out of him. The rest of the flight was uneventful but it was the only time I wish general aviation airplanes came with an ejection handle.

  • A long time ago, I was building flight time as a traffic watch pilot. One day a new reporter wanted to sit up in the co-pilot seat on the Cessna 172 instead of the back where they normally do their reporting. We started our take off roll and I feel resistance on the yoke as it tries to rotate prematurely. I look over and the reporter has his hand on the yoke and tells me "Relax, I have hundreds of hours on Microsoft Flight Sim".

  • @CaptainMike97 Yes, 14 is fine, but you will need to accompanied by an over 18.

  • @james737 Would it be ok for 14 year olds?

  • he didnt activate the landing gear!!!

  • I ve flowned boeing sim, the 737/747. My chances would be 75 % too land safely. Mainly cause i fly ifr all the time. On an airbus maybe 25%.

  • thats awesome If I won the lotto I would buy one lol

  • Horribe use, or no use at all of right rudder on takeoff, then I stopped watching...

  • @TheBadameco The full-motion simulators cost around £500-£550 per hour, plus tax, to hire.

  • @james737 Do we have to pay anything??
