  • Akman got a question...I'm swapping a turbo 5.3 into my 69 firebird, what pan did you use, and motor mounts? HELP me lol

  • @Yfz10r Cool! I used the GM Performance Parts Oil Pan sold specially for swaping LSx motors into older chevy cars. The GM Part number is 19212593. As far as motor mounts go, I just bought adapters off eBay which use the factory SBC 350 mounts and convert the spacing to work with an LSx motor. Hope this helps.

  • Come on???? Your building a frankenstein!!!!! Go to year one or gm performance and buy a crate motor!!!!

  • @65JD5010 Sure! if you pay! ;)

  • Edelbrock carbs are good for about a year then they start to break down, you should invest your money elsewhere. Like a Holley 750 Double Pumper

  • @MrBowtie95 Yup. I'm working on a LQ4 to drop in the car right now. Only this time I have a holley 750 on that edelbrock intake so hopefully it should be tons better. The edelbrock was a dog.
