This is not a movie about the holocaust. It is a movie about how hannah's article turned the understanding of human behavior within organization on its head, and completely changed how we study obedience, conformity, compliance and evil.

"Oh, you're right", the fact that I grouped the Germans and Japanese together renders my argument completely irrelevant... Please, address the actual issue if you're going to attack my statement.

Perhaps I missed something, but I think it's actually a movie about Hannah Arendt. I hope your life has not been a succession of bitter disappointments because the subjects of most films are of little interest to you.

Calm down, just calm down, it is simply a movie explaining a idea or theory of why innocent people become evil, and even much evil than the planners of crimes. She was not going to blame the Nazi or German, in turn she wanted to say some Nazis were just too mediocre not to obey the order of government. It was same as the matter of Russian and Chinese. Even in imperial Japanese army, there were still some men with decent education, and soon after war became great artists and scholars.
