The reason a draw goes further is because it compresses the ball more than a fade

Actually with the draw you get a longer shot, especially with the driver..it rolls farther because with a fade or a straight shot it lands softer. I just know from experience trust me! Drawing the ball is the power shot!!

y is it more powerful than just hitting it perfectly straight? Shortest distance from point a to b is a straight line so you would get more distance from a straight shot right?

What the draw (movement inside out) makes is clubhead speed, which means ball speed and then distance. But if u hit the ball at the same speed i think a straight path would be a longer shot than a inside out one

a draw makes the ball spin forward so when it lands it will go further, the ball does not spin forward on a straight shot, i think there is slightly more backspin

think of a draw as a shot with topspin in tennis
alot more powerful than the drop shot, which is virtually the same as a fade, and used to stop the ball quicker

A great demonstration on how to hit a true draw. No closing of the face at your address.
