The story so far
Well, after forty-something pages of (terribly exciting!) speculation, a summary of the ongoing treasure-hunt might be in order.

A site, dedicated to "The Ununited States of Eurasia", tells the visitor about Operation Gran Ajedrez. Several important details are "redacted", similar to a declassified intelligence file.

As it appears, Gran Ajedrez is a large-scale strategic plan, requiring "humint" - or human intelligence. Gran Ajedrez literally translates to "Grand Chessboard". The term Eurasia appears to originate in the book "The Great Chessboard", written by Zbigniew Brzezinski, a Polish political scientist. As well as "1984" by George Orwell, this book is mentioned as a source of inspiration for the song. It describes how the United States of America should take control of the Eurasian landmass - that is, Europe, Asia and the Middle East - in order to secure its oil supplies.

The map on the main site shows six locations highlighted. These places are identified as (from left to right): Belfort/Paris, Berlin, Moscow, Abu Dhabi/Dubai, Hong Kong and Tokyo. From this point forward, several suggestions as to their meaning have been proposed. The unifying theme may be revolution and establishing a new regime. (This suggestion is lent support by something mentioned later on) Also, some of the cities are connected by their (former) pinnacle systems of government, such as capitalism or totalitarianism. Connecting the cities shows a (disputed) point of intersection near Baku in Azerbaijan.

The background shows a large control panel. Since it explicitly mentions "Reactor Coolant pumps", this may be a picture of the switchboard of a nuclear reactor. The meaning of this is still unclear.

In the description of Operation Gran Ajedrez, the "political and public sentiment at -2.57 (Knight index)" is required. Recognizing the number as a point in time and "Knight index" as a reference to Knights of Cydonia, two different sentences have been found - one in Hoodoo and one in KoC itself. Both describe feelings of rebellion and revolution, supporting the idea that Revolution is the central theme:
"Build a new reality..." (Hoodoo)
"No one's gonna take me alive..." (Knights of Cydonia)

Also, the text tells us about "Bravo Niner". Bravo is the military/nautical word for "B", and Niner for "9". B9 may be initial position of a Knight in a game of Grand Chess.

Finally, when subscribing to the site, the viewer is notified that he/she is part of the human intelligence, and is encouraged to recruit more members. In a Mailinglist-mail sent today, it is said that "it's going to need a whole lot of fans all around the world to make it work", alluding that the reward is "[being] the first to hear a new song from The Resistance". It has been proposed that further instructions may follow on the day of the French Fête National (which celebrates the storming of the Bastille and the starting signal of the French Revolution): Quatorze Juillet, or 14th of July. Also, the album release date (14th of September) is suggested to be influenced by this.

Of course, additions, modifications and suggestions are more than welcome!
- EDIT1: Oh my, totally forgot Bravo Niner. Fixed now, I suppose.
