I saw Johnny and his band two days ago in NY at the airport. We were waiting at the gate together for our flight to Houston. I have been listening to him for almost forty years and recognized him instantly so I started talking to his drummer and then to him. He was very nice and they offered me his picture and autograph. No one else acted as though they had a clue as to who he was but I surely did. He is playing in Houston tomorrow night,

I have 3 reversed Firebirds , cause of this guy and it's taken me 30 yrs and 2 wives to aquire them....yes I've been a die hard fan for along time.I'ts good to see JW in such good shape both physically and musically. Johnny rocks and always has, long live Johnny and the Blues

@befhip No, that is Paul Nelson. The man pretty much responsible for helping Johnny get back to being healthy! Got to meet both of them last year...it was great.

He makes it look so easy and he's so damm good. This one is off his new album. Saw him Thur. night 11:28 p.m. and he blew the roof off. Go Johnny, Go :) Might get to see him in Houston 2-3-12. Warehouse Live Hou. Tex. :) Keeping my fingers crossed for this one.
