On September 24th, 2009, Cynthia Enloe, a research professor in international development and womens studies at Clark University, presented the lecture, Picking Up the Pieces: Making Feminist Sense of the Iraq War and its Aftermath.
In her presentation, Enloe focused on how feminist questioning makes it more realistic to understand the Iraq War in this globalizing era.
This event was sponsored by the Albert Schweitzer Institute at Quinnipiac University, College of Arts & Sciences, Department of Political Science, and Women's Studies Program.
Cynthia Enloe's lecture itself runs from about 9:30 to 49:50, followed by questions. Really interesting stuff.
