I went to the New York City Convention!! I have loved Space:1999 since it first aired on Sept.1st,1975 in the New York area!! One of the stars even sent me a hand written letter saying 'looking forward to meeting you ' !!  all the people involved in making this show made me the happiest guy in the world and it always brought tears to my eyes. everyone on that tv show seems like they are a family to me

Watching this...YET AGAIN! i loved the costumes with the fans...MAYA ROCKED! the astranaught was great...then all the fans in costume on "main Mission"...were fabulous...but to see the stars...WOW!! I'm speechless!! Thanks for posting...and I hope we all ...."DANCE!!!!" (especially with our STARS!!) Thank you space 1999....great memories!!!!

Wish I could have gone. On sept 13th 1999 I watched a full day of space 1999 episodes. Might do it again this Sept 13th.

Looks like a lovely time...wished I could have been there. I hope to go, perhaps this year to Space Con. It must have been awesome to party with the cast!

ha! i love this show, but i hadn't rediscovered it in 1999, unfortunately. i used to watch it obsessively as a kid, and then rented a few vids on a lark a couple of years ago and totally fell in love with it all over again.
