CameraJams is very pleased to present the third video in the new 'The Enzo Scacchia Series', which features this great virtuoso accordionist performing a very nice rendition of the well known samba, Tico Tico No Fuba.
Tico Tico no Fubá is the title of a renowned Brazilian choro music piece composed in 1917 by Zequinha de Abreu. The song was first called Tico Tico no Farelo, and in the 40's became Tico Tico no Fuba.
Tico Tico no Fubá was made popular internationally by Carmen Miranda, who performed it in the 1947 movie Copacabana.
Another well known version was made by Miss Ethel Smith, who was known as the first lady of the Hammond organ.
Enzo is considered a major talent and phenomenon in his genre and was recognised as a world champion organist in 1995.
Enzo lives in the city of Teramo, in the Abruzzo region of Italy, less than 50 miles from Rome.
Enzo has composed numerous songs that have been published in Italy and abroad and has been featured on CD's and cassettes of famous bands and he has also been published in several books as well.
He has recorded and released two CDs and 2 cassettes in Italy and also a CD in Brazil.
Enzo is also the inventor of a new organ chromatic, legally registered with the name of Jambi in 1996 - (the traditional diatonic accordion).
He started playing at the age of five years. and has studied music theory, including studies of the principles of musical harmony and modern accordion and also has knowledge of instrumental guitar, keyboard fundamentals and singing.
On a slightly different note, Enzo is also a Personal Trainer, Technical Trainer for Youth Boxing, and Kick Boxing Master, K-1 Style!
He is also experienced in Self Defense, Karate and Wado-ryu and is also an Instructor in Thai Boxing, Full Contact, Body Building and Fitness, (1st and 2nd level) and is also a Coach of Savate and Judge and Referee in National Kick and Thai Boxing.
