I am outraged by some of these comments!! How could anyone be so god damn rude but to call any woman pathetic. Different options of pain relief are available for a reason, all women are different, every birth is different. Its no longer the friggin 1960's so rightfully you are the one walking around with your eyes closed and possibly experiencing alot more pain than necessary, but by no means does that make you more of a WOMAN you bloody idiot!!!!!

I swear to you contractions and labor ain't a joke!!! I had hell because my baby was stuck on one side and my blood pressure went up because of it. I'm so traumatized from the pain I'm not having anymore kids!

When i was in labor the woman in the next room was screaming away from the contractions and saying 'get this thing out of me' and i said to my bf im scared and the nurse said 'dont worry, you're further along than she is and your doing great'.

omg haha, this is me to the point when i had my daughter lol, i was off my face on gas and air screaming 'give me that f*ing epidural now you s*theads!!!! i look back at the photos and recordings now and pee myself laughing everytime x

that one was my girl. i had a boy 3 years earlier. you're first labor is usually the hardest. get an epidural for that one. the later ones usual go more quickly. i didnt actually end up needing one for my daughter. first labor was 30 hrs with epidural and oxytocin drip. the second was 5 hrs. both were vaginal and the actual pushing part goes alot faster when you can feel the contractions. any more advice? yes! go wolfgirl go! have those puppies, the best time is now!!!

@TheBeatlesDreamScape ...actually this labor went so fast they never gave me the epidural or any other anesthetics. i looked fucked up because of the PAIN. 5 hrs to open up, 15 minutes to push her out. thank god it flew by.
