An armed police officer died a month or so back now, hit and run. Almost no news coverage, no outry and no manhunt. No guns blazing, yet this officer lost is life trying to stop criminals. So no, the 'pigs' didn't go wailing, they just got on with their jobs.

i understand that some people dont like the police and i understand that there are some bad cops out there but its the same everywhere that there is bad eggs in every basket most police officers i have met are good people

@Flamorgan I would love a frankfurter just now. I will admit that there is uncertainty there but even though it owe's germany huge sum's it's still Ireland and will get better in time. Britain owe's huge sum's also and is off setting them by borrowing more??? You and your children will be paying for the english politition's mistake's for year's to come. only reason they are the only people to do the job is cause the public hate them so much they dont want to become them. they hit women they hit kids they kill innocent people i have NO respect for murderers and womenbeaters and i doubt anyone else has. you have lost the public you tried to protect you have made your bed now lie in it.

what all the police need to understand is its not them that most of us don't like, it's the corrupt system there enforcing the policy's for, WE are the public, you are the servants, not just the paid thugs to ensure the power's that be can keep us down and steal money from us with statutes NOT COMMON LAW, start realising just who you are supposed to be protecting and you will find a lot more support from the public, we need you!
