Haha yeah, that's the way I used to think too! Glad you opened your mind to it. Some rappers are shit like 50 Cent and Ja Rule and people like that, but there's plenty of good rap artists too. =D

i agree, that was a long time ago and i have a new opinion now of rap music.
i actually found some very talented rap artists that i enjoy like MC Lars, Flobots, and Eminem has even grown on me some.
but ive come to realize that its not right to not like one certain type of music because of certain individuals.

I think it's kind of silly to say all rap is bad. You've never listened to all rap. A lot of rap/hip-hop is very alike to spoken word poetry. Like Sage Francis, Aesop Rock or Tupac Shakur.

and two, if he sings one of his poems, how is it not music? i mean seriously u might not think its ur type of music or u might not think its very good. o well its still music.
i dont think rap music is very good. but its still music no matter how much i hate it.
