Greg Brunkalla (director of "List of Demands") was in LA this summer and got a call from Saul Williams. He was calling to see if they could film something quickly for Saul's website. They got together at Greg's hotel and quickly started brainstorming about other things they could film. An hour later this DNA video is what they came up with. All shot in a hotel room, in slow motion, and out of focus.

  • @synyster004 I was referring to Saul's music in a holistic context, I maybe didn't mention that which is why you got the interpretation that I was suggesting Saul was better based off of just "DNA". But agree with yah on them both being top in their artistic fields.

  • @regenoflove21 honestly, this was the first saul song i heard. i never heard him spit over a beat. how can saul make one good song and be greater then what kanye is doing his whole career? If kanye wrote a great spoken word would it be right for people to say he is greater that saul? i dont think so. i will say that saul is the best at what he does and kanye has competition.

  • It resonates.

  • @synyster004 yep just not as great as saul.

  • @regenoflove21 Let me clarify....Kanye is a great musical artist.

  • @synyster004 You think by being "hot" that qualifies him as a great "musical artist"???

I've got nothing against Kanye, Jay z or whoever's in the mainstream atm, I've got something against the people who are behind their messages and images that they are presenting to the public regularly. I'm sure they are great artists if given the chance to be independent musically, you should maybe do a little research into them first....

" Fuck a beat, listen to the words of the damn song ".
