THIS JUST HAPPENED TO MY FRIENDS TRUCK. IT WAS ONLY 3 DAYS OLD AND THE WHEEL FELL OFF AND THE DEALER REFUSED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY!
-
That's not operator error, looks like the hub/axle broke I'm not surprised. This is a common issue, I've seen photos of others. Typical Dodge!

That is aftermarket wheels on that truck so they were probally not probally installed properly (ie correct tq). Those trucks have a solid rear axle a wheels isn't gonna come off unless it wasn't installed right or the driver was driving it wrecklessly. And if your refering to the dakotas and durangos that's cause idiots don't know how to service their balls joints if there isn't a "idiot filler" on the joint.
similar thing happened to my truck, 3 lugs broke off and the other 2 started to loosen by them selves, but i was smart enough to catch it be fore the wheel came off, unlike this driver

Whoa, how did they break off?
Yeah the brake line on this truck was ripped off, so I assume they were driving when the wheel fell off. That'd be pretty scary.
