The "722" refers to the victory by Sir Stirling Moss and his co-driver Denis Jenkinson in a Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR with the starting number 722 (indicating a start time of 7:22 a.m.) at the Mille Miglia in 1955. Video credits to www.autofernsehen.de.

  • where are you getting your information from?have you ever driven one? there has never been in anything wrong with the SLR's brakes if anything this car has the most breaking power of any production the only critisism it got was that the breaks lacked in feel jeremy described them as being either on or off.
