  • Seems like cheat codes are allowed. According to the conditions stated :3

  • @Apollo19870 - Heheh, I never implied cheat codes are allowed. Then again, by not specifically mentioning it in the conditions, it seems you found me a loophole for the frustrating chapters ahead. (just kidding) :p

  • @gesphenst Lolz just enjoying the Challenge Run and letting my advice slip. Oops. :P

Awesome Run though, I wouldn't even attempt this. I was around chapter 9 I think before I had to return it to Blockbuster.

  • NOTE: It's a pleasure to watch good Dead Space players. There aren't many I respect. Basically just you, Wolfwood and projectz3 concerning specialty runs. InnocentBlood is pretty good too. I do hope you'll see this run through to the end. Wolfwood has stopped. Projectz3 has as well.

  • (Infector) 2x stasis and stomps was what I went with after finding out gravity wells would fail me *regrettable*. If class 3 worked on them perfectly, I wouldn't have had to. They don't suffer a great knockback/knockdown or large stun...

5:40 Not sure I'd go balls out and trip the Super Slasher spawn until I'd taken down the Pregnant. Beating the latter with just Melee is something I haven't gotten too good with when I rush it. The former isn't so bad with a slow crawl attack.

  • 2:17 I haven't gotten good with knowing their leap limit like you have, but I have gotten good with harassing with melee and kinesis. Nevermind shotting them when they stop to attack.

NOTE: When I get to this run, and I will because I love flamethrowers in horror, I'll likely limit myself greatly on cases where I actually use it. More for cases where my usual options fail or are simply too frustrating. Basically, where having a gun would ease things considerably. To save ammo.

  • I'm not using nodes even for doors right now. It's not a rule of the run, but I may want to in the future as I've started taking alot more damage, wasting stasis packs and as noted with the Guardians, had to open fire on occassion. I have lots of money, but my 'safe' is being cleaned out slowly but surely.

(Gravity Wells) Lurkers and Super Slashers here love them. The Infector didn't seem effected at all. Class 3 objects were my weapon of choice. Abusing checkpoints after some testing.

  • You seem to have continued the run. Lovely. I'm still doing my own run as noted previously. Ch.8 currently. Ch.7 was kicking my ass.

Ch.8's 2x Guardian fight was too much. I tested melee and escape options, but it was proven impossible. Kinesis options were class 1. Class 2 could only be had if I shot a vent and Class 4 weren't around (explosives). I had to open fire on them.
