@Vam999 It wasn't a trade. Ariza was a FREE AGENT when he signed with the Rockets. Artest was a FREE AGENT when signed with the Lakers. No sign-and-trade move was made. They just simply swapped teams through free agency. PS. Ariza didn't want out of Lakers. His agent screwed him over. I thought this was clarified to everyone. Apparently not. So basically, his agent wanted more money form the lakers. and lakers said screw you and didn't offer ariza a contract. instead got artest. end of story.
