A 3oC sensitivity is calculated by using past climactic change including what we have seen in the past century. It is not models that lead to that figure. A climate system that has been stable for millions of years???Ever hear of the Ice Ages? That's why we know there isn't a low sensitivity because if it was the past we have seen cannot be explained. This video is a compilation of climate myths. Go to skeptical science (dot) com and see them debunked.
Plants may be beneficial by the increased CO2, but probably not. Experiments have shown that insects thrives in environments with high CO2, which will destroy the crops.
The "Global Cooling" you are referring to has been thoroughly debunked. Greenman has made some good movies about this. It was a concern about the aerosols in the sky that caused Global Dimming, which a few scientists thought should result in Global Cooling.
There are some errors in this movie. It isn't the CO2 that will cause 3 degrees rise in temperatures. Our carbon emissions will only stand for a little temperature change. It is the effects of the increase in CO2 (like the melting of siberian tundra which will release methane, melting of the arctic etc). The growing seasons will be better in some countries, and totally useless in others. The rainfall will increase in many countries, but it won't be beneficial, because it will be hard rain.
Many are suggesting that Al Gore is the one who SHOULD know everything about the Global Warming. No one is even naming the AAAS, NAS or NASA, which are the most respected scientific organizations on the earth, and which are supporting that Global Warming will be bad. You are forgetting the guys with the brains, guys! Just telling us how dumb a politician is won't do any good.
If there are no clouds, the sun is shining on the desert all day long, that's over 1 MWh of heat / square meter... that's why it's hot,
Temperatures drop dramatically in the nights because there is nothing to keep the heat energy absorbed by the ground in it, and it quickly dissipates in the night air (below freezing temperatures found in the winter).
Regarding your feedback discussion, it assumes the initial forcing ceases, after which negative feedbacks can return the system to a state of equilibrium. While this is the case in natural, cyclical forcings, this is not the case with unnatural man-made forcing.
Imagine pushing the golf ball up a small incline. Negative feedbacks work in opposition until the incline is crested. After this tipping point positive feedbacks overwhelm the initial forcing, making its cessation immaterial.

@michael01x
How does the atmosphere determine CO2 from man is "unnatural" ?
Of course it can't. CO2 from man participates in the same negative feedbacks as the rest of the atmosphere.
There is no evidence whatsoever that the IPCC's assumptions of 'unnatural' positive feedbacks exist.

I never looked at it that way but great insight thanks.
I just like to say if C02 is the major "problem" with our environment the next volcano explosion will either prove or disprove the global debate.
My guess is that this planet is far more complex than Algore can begin to try and understand.
He received all of his ideas from a college professor who after many year admitted he was incorrect. Gore just dismissed him as senile.
