  • did it come with a hardcase

  • It came with the usual case that MGM includes.

  • I definitely appreciate the review... I'm looking for my first "real" uke and you pretty much had me sold the first time I saw the review. Problem is I didn't realize the KA-ASAC-T was meant to be a limited release, so I've been on an unreal easter egg hunt all over Cali...

Anyways, its not about the destination, its about the journey.

By the way, what song is the exerpt from @ 3:28?

  • That song is Blue Roses Falling by Jake Shimabukuro. Thanks for the comment!

  • would u recommend this or a hawaiian koa uke?

  • What is the song on @ 4:10? Always forget the name.

  • Quick adjustment? U rebuilt the F@cking thing!

  • Hey Matt,

    Good work.

I have the concert version (nice - Same gap in the bridge). It doesn't have the slotted head - However I want slots!

How did this compare with the Lanikai monkey or zebra that you played with the slotted head?

    Cheers,

    Claudio

PS - Don't be afraid to pronounce Aquila the Italian way rather than Spanish :D

  • @lendawgenzo Ah yes, I've talked to MGM. He is completely out of stock and doesn't know when the next shipment is going to be manufactured. I'm in Cali, but down near Los Angeles. Oh well. I guess I'll have to wait a little while :)

Thanks for the help, though! I'm glad to hear that it was worth the wait and the investment!

  • @MrWally417 Hey Mr. Wally, sorry for the late response.Ya I did manage to get a hold of this uke about 3 weeks after my post. I was really apprehensive in investing in the KA-ASAC-T as I don't consider myself anymore than a novice player, but it made learning a pleasure, & it was worth every dollar. I'm in NorCal, and I found one at ABC Music in Benicia. If not in Cali, you may wanna lookup musicguymic on ebay. I met him at the Napa Valley Ukulele Festival, highly reputable and good prices.

  • great vids man

    just wanted to say that!

    XD
