They should turn down the volume of the guitars a bit.

I think they did the song justice, but you can't beat The Smiths' rendition... its a classic.

Lol this version sucks. Replace Marr's complex chiming appeggios with genric power chords = shit. The guitarist cannot even bother to do the complete intro or replace it with his own interpretation (which I would have prefered to see).

Fan's of this version probably do not know what a scale is, and thus cannot appreciate the ornate sonic interplay of the orginal Smiths version. Also the singer sucks, theres no feeeling there apart from a depressed emo-like tinge.

I agree with you too.

Maybe it's because I heard this version first, I'm not British, I'm not from the 80's, and I'm a Death Cab fan, not a Smiths fan. But I think they really took a good song and added a twist to modernize it and make it better.
