so i made a big mistake the other day. i bought a mini-14 w a stainless barrel. I still dont know how i missed it but the gun is chambered in .222. i just assumed it was .223 and was in a hurry, well needless to say wallymarts doesnt carry ammo. ive yet to fire it!

@natedoglara mine was a bare bones 16 inch upper that i installed a full length rail on about a year ago handle everything great for ammo and those "ak only" test of the rifle getting wet or sandy/muddy i've taken mine whitetail hunting through a swamp only fired twice the whole hunt but no mishaps

Id gladly take up shooting your overflow and making videos for it lol. trying to figure out a way to get a camera of my own and classic guns to start my own channel. california (or kommifornia) doesnt leave too many places to shoot though. not too mention being broke

I love the MINI 14. I own the tactical as well. Put an AIMPOINT 9000sc on it. love it.

An excuse to bring it out again is to test it with different brands of magazines, but every proud owner of the Mini should know that the only reliable magazines are the factory Ruger ones.
