considerable improvement from the last 2 skid marks..this is actually Yoshinaga Naoyuki-sans grand finale conducting everything except for script, & taking credit as Director for the first & last time. hes kept a low profile throughout the 85 season supervising casting & choreography in at least a dozen eps..whom i never had to blacklist in any way being quite the talent. anyone with 'Oyuki' in their name is UY goodness. just realized Mr. Moroboshi is somewhat the original Megane in many ways.

Mrs. Moroboshi gets an episode of endless fantasy where she becomes godlike and ultimately discovers her inner child and resolves to be at peace with her life.

Mr. Moroboshi gets an episode where he gets run over by a truck. Unfair.

Lum is actually a princess of sorts, since her dad is the head of the Oni on Oniboshi--although it is unclear if he's "royalty" in any way. However, he still has lots of resources that enable him to have the forces that would have conquered the Earth. So, it's unclear why Lum doesn't contribute to the Moroboshi financial circumstances, unless it has to do with the paternal ideal of the man being the "breadwinner," while the woman is the "homemaker." That's the only reason I can imagine.

Actually, in an older episode, it was revealed that Ataru and his parents are scared to death of Lum's father.

.........Lum was able to buy all the worlds resources in the first episode why doesnt she pay some rent shes been thier for 2 years i think ... then again if she put out i wouldnt charge her anything
