Another one of my favorites. What's interesting about this port is the ambient techno by none other than Yuzo Koshiro of Streets of Rage, Actraiser, Etrian Odyssey fame. Yuzo recently composed an orchestral score for 7th Dragon. I can't wait to get my hands on that.
Yes I intended for that Stahn schmuck to be Stahn from Tales of destiny.

  • This game did have a great soundtrack.

  • It's worth noting that this is one of the earliest ambient techno soundtracks, like how Streets of Rage 3 from around the same time was one of the earliest hardcore jungle / drum & bass soundtracks. This was Yuzo Koshiro's experimental electronica at its finest.

    However, in much the same way some Sega fans criticized the Streets of Rage 3 soundtrack for being too hardcore, I can imagine that D&D fans may have had similar reactions to this game's ambient techno sound.

  • it would have been nice to hear something more relevent to the games timeline then techno, but oh well...

  • man i really loved the EOB series..too bad they didnt really have a soundtrack when i played them
