Orion (No Limits) [HD]

Orion is a large Intamin inverting roller coaster combing two coaster styles into one pulse-pounding ride using Intamin's vertical lift to ensure its compact layout. This would be the first ever coaster to include a twister-hyper coaster layout with a fast paced five-inversion segment all in 4,500 feet of track. The ride's initial 197 foot lift allows the ride to reach a maximum speed of 72mph before subjecting riders to two extended instances of -1.0 to -1.5 ejector airtime and various points of 3.5-4.5G. The ride is meant to simulate a routine NASA mission (the first half) which quickly veers into mayhem (the second half) before brought safely back to base.

Orion was completely custom designed by hand over the course of one month and over 30 hours. It's g-forces remain in the green through the duration of the ride in all rows. It has also been heartlined and tunnel tested

All I can really say is wow. That was awesome, for a hand built coaster. At times, I could argue that it was tooled, but at others, it seemed like the lateral G's spiked a bit. For the entire coaster it was really smooth with a few pumps and "Awkward" elements. Great job!
