Internationally renowned Pavement artist, Julian Beever creates a Christmas 'Trick of the Eye' Pavement drawing at The Atrium, Camberley.
Dubbed the 'Pavement Picasso' Julian Beever brought his Trompe l'oeil pavement art to The Atrium in Camberley.
Using a projection technique called anamorphosis to create the illusion of three dimensions when viewed from the correct angle, the Christmas scene chalk drawing is so convincing shoppers will want to step right in!
Julian has created an extra special Santa's workshop, set deep within a crevasse ion an ice glacier in the North Pole, where the lovely blues of the ice complements the warmer yellows from the workshop with which is lit by the open fire. Santa can be seen warming his hands preparing to go out on deliveries while hi helpers, little old dwarves, are busy finishing the presents on workbenches. Santa and his helpers will be surrounded by a large pile of completed presents, some impatient reindeer and a Christmas tree in the workshop. Children will be able to can pose above the workshop and look straight down in the grotto. Plus, Elf and Safety Officers have been on site making sure that people don't fall into the grotto.
