@stubabyq The ice caps are not 29,000 feet thick. You can't just turn 29,000 feet of water into something in the ''hydrological cycle''.
You were supposted to make up a story about the mountains being smaller and made by the flood and the ''fountains of the deep''.
According to Genesis, the earth was.........flat and the center of the solar system.

@stubabyq Science is limited by what? People ignore the facts because of religion. There was no global flood, we have know that for a long time.

@gregrutz Science is limited. God is limitless. Some people would rather sit in the dark instead of learning how to turn on a light.

@dlhitch2007 It's the Hovind Theroy. Kent does not need to have evidence or Physics on his side, he has the Bible.

Funny how they deny the fossil record until they find Giants and Bahemoths.

What nonsense.

So the dinosaurs were big because the earth was surrounded by a sphere of water. Was it liquid water? A sphere of water vapor would decrease rather than increase atmospheric pressure. How would a sphere of liquid water remain suspended above the earth? Gravity would pull it back down.
You prefer the empirical view of things that you cannot understand. Now I will ask the question, Do you think that water suspended above the earth in what is termed outer space would remain in a liquid state? We know the earth maintains a position in space without any visible means, how difficult would it be to suspend a crystalline vapor canopy around the entire earth or the rings around Saturn. Consider electro-magnetism. Nikola Tesla did.

@stubabyq There was no water suspended above the earth. Where did it go? You are missing 29,000 feet of water. Kent Hovind made up that canopy story to justify the bible story, NO EVIDENCE.
BTW Dinosaurs lived over 65 Million years ago. They ruled the earth and evolved for 160 million years.

@gregrutz Hovind did not make up the canopy story. The earliest recorded mention of the canopy came from Titus Flavius Josephus around 94 a.d. in his work, "The Antiquities of the Jews." According to Genesis, the earth was watered by a mist that seeped up through the earth from underground. The 29,000 feet of water is contained in the hydrological cycle that exists today, and in the polar ice caps that originally were non existent, as the canopy kept the earth at an even temperature.
