This is amazing footage that provides a clear contextual linkage of early radical faeries and the emergence of clone culture in 1970's personified by the rugged Colt mystique. Although there are many clips of diverse queer gatherings many with drag motifs from this time, this is the first I have seen of "butch" or outlaw masculinity, regardless of how camp it seems.
