Without a doubt this series and series 3 were the best ones of the entire show as the storyline was developing perfectly and also, the annoying father was written out of it at the write time. Kirwan leaves, and the show goes downhill and the last straw was when Noel Coward was written into the script!!!

i learned about this wonderful show from a super cool chick who lives in Blackpool whom I play Word Feud with on my Droid. i plan on buying the entire series/boxset on DVD/Blu-Ray. the premise is absolutely clever and brilliant!  I live in America and i gotta say that thi is one of the most refreshing shows I've ever seen! as an Anglo-phile i adore the idiomatic dialogue and the accents. As a WWII buff, i get all the references. I'm so glad it ran for so many seasons! Cheers!

I'm really surprised at the way she's acting. They seemed to resolve any of the stuff that might make her act like this toward the end of the last episode. Damn new guy :\
