The late fiftys and early sixties saw a rise of seraphic singing maestro Ustad Amanat Ali Khan. (1922-1974) was a Pakistani classical singer The Prestigious Patiala Gharana the family that sworn to carry on the traditional and classical aura of Hindustani music saw another immaculate, and faultless singer adding more shine, prestige and prosperity to their family.
He was honored with the 'Pride of Performance' award from the government of Pakistan.

It is a real and rare classic display. A maestro, legend an immortal Amanat Ali Sahib, pioneers of classical and Ghazal singing steps in late fifties and cemented his place with command and authority. His sweet and full of vibration’s voice touched millions of music lovers. Such simple and effective words of Qateel Shifai, Akhtar Hussain´s composition are rapturous and have a rustic aura about it. Amanat Ali´s voice is full of pathos and touches the inner most chord of one's heart!(22 02 2011)
