  • Wow the ending part was random!

I must say the game really does look a WHOLE lot better with the fancy graphical effects enabled, especially environmental shadows. Whenever I play it's always dark and bleak. Well, it's supposed to be like that but bad lighting exaggerates the effect.

  • I tried to synch the 'XD's with the beat of Sector Sweep, but it just wasn't practical with the limitations of WMM. You wouldn't believe the effort it t0ok, just non-stop trial and error, to get just those 'XD's in there that I DID put in there. Originally, I wanted to have them scrolling in perspective, keeping with the beat of the entire Sector Sweep theme, but it just couldn't be done. Not practical. To0 stressful.

  • Like a Guitar Hero-type thing? Yeah, I can see how that might take a while, LOL

  • That's exactly what I was going for, only it scrolls up instead of down.

  • Apparently he filled his lungs with pure oxygen, and he could slow his heartbeat just enough to survive, they actually suspended him in a giant snow-globe of sorts. He later said that he felt like he was going to die towards the end, but he managed to hold out.

  • Ridonkulous...exactly. }:-P How did he anti-die?

  • There's actually this one guy that held his breath for 17 minutes! Is that ridonkulous or what?

  • There is a STALKER flamethrower mod, come to think of it. XD

  • Yeah, I meant a piece of headgear or artifact to protect against the psi-attacks of controllers and burers. It seems a very underused attack form.

Come to think of it, I'm surprised more enemies (not anomalies or hazards) didn't attack with burning, chemical, or electric weapons or attacks. Would have made those artifacts protecting against those damage types more useful.

How about flamethrowers? Or tesla Cannons? Chem-sprayers? Big fat lightning elemental monsters?! :)

  • Three weeks without fo0d. Three days without water. Three minutes without air.

You actually do get a psi-helmet. You don't HAVE to, but it's better if you do. In Yantar, you go with Kruglov (or Simonov if Kro0g dies) to take psi-measurements. Sakharov uses the readouts to calibrate a psi-helmet which allows you to withstand the psi-emmissions from X-16. But I think what you're thinking of is something that could withstand the psi-attacks of controllers and burers.
