No I'm sorry, Marcion didn't WRITE the New Testament. He didn't like the Jewish content in the NT and he hated the OT totally. So :Marcion did a hatchet job to the NT by just including Gospel of Luke and Paul's letters with all pro Jewish stuff cut out. This hatchet job motivated other Christians to collect and organize what were considered to be legitimate Christian writings before a whole bunch of tabloid gossip (Gnostic gospels) became confused for the real stuff. Jews were trade competition.
