CRUISE SHIP! CLELIA II AND TANKER (ICE TRAVELLER) leaving Portland!!!

A WHILE AGO THIS SHIP GOT IN A DISASTER AND ALMOST SANK NEAR THE ANTARCTIC PENINSULA!

This was the first ship to kick off the 2010 Portland Harbor Cruise Ship season!,
"Clelia II" , the schedule said that this ship was going to leave at 10:30pm , but while getting a video of the tanker Ice Traveler, I glanced to my left and witnessed a gorgeous spectacle! Celia Ii was on its way out, and the sun was hitting the ship and making it glow magically! I got a perfect shot of it going by spring point lighthouse, and it passing Ice Traveler!!! AMAZING FOOTAGE!!! (I think so) :D

@SouthPortlandKK I caught of video of the Clellia II passing Port Huron at sunrise last summer. Very brief clip and I never made a stand alone video of it. It will likely be included in a longer video showing a lot of videos. Nice job on this one.

I looked at your harbor on Google Earth. Getting in there is a really tight fit. How is the tide a factor?

@fishnetlarry well, a lot of times there is really really low tide and you can see sandy beach right near the docks and stuff but I dont know much about tides and how it effects ships. thanks for liking my video :D! cant wait to see yours
