Tommy Franks Confronted by Peace Activists

Tommy Franks, former commander of U.S. Central Command is confronted at a book signing at Sams Club in Clearwater, FL by members of St. Pete for Peace. Franks was asked if he would sign his book to the hundreds of thousand of Iraqi civilians killed by Franks'led military. At that point protesters were ordered to leave. (This is from a couple years ago but we just re-found the video).

I saw two vocal protesters and maybe five other people around. I didn't see General Franks though. Anyhow, John Slaboda's Iraq body count (google it) has an itemized account of nearly every dead civilian in Iraq. You will see that an incredibly small amount of those deaths were comitted by the US.

No fan of Sadam here - but we should have left when we were still seen as liberators... not hindsight - just how I would have done it.

There weren't that many people in line so the asswipe could have just asked Gen Franks some questions but no, he remained an asswipe. Perfect!!
