Why does everyone keep asking if it hurts or not.. Firstly, everyone has different pain levels, so if someone says it doesnt hurt, that doesnt mean it wont hurt for you.. Therefore that question is ridiculous and pointless, and secondly, if you wanted the dam thing done bad enough then you'd get it regardless if it hurt or not. It's not gona kill u! & its over within a few seconds so tighten up!

shut up, i had my tragus pierced last wednesday, and it did hurt! noh it doesnt hurt anymore, it isnt swollen or anything, its not infected so i hope it will turn out pretty. sorry for my bad english.

@xPrincessAzula You are a unique person, most people will have swelling. People react differently to piercings, personally when I had my eye brow and tongue done it was very swollen very much so with my tongue( should of got it on video I know). But you do not need to react that way.

I got mine done over a month ago and i absolutely love it! when i got it done it didnt hurt much it was more like a pressure of this clamp ! and it didnt bleed much either ! its already healed and i changed the little ball thing to a sparkly one :)) so if you really want to get it done go for it :)♥.

Do you know if they can do it with the guns too? me and some friends are thinking of getting it done. If so, has anyone had it done by gun instead of needle?

hahaha i got mine done almost 3 weeks ago and im used to piercings but this one i freaked out and held the seat really tight as the needle went through but as soon as the piercing was in it was fine and i've had no trouble since...just swelling and a lot of blood straight after. definitely the least painful! =) could sleep on it the first night too

@eagerbeavers1130 I think you need consent, i went 2 days ago, im 19 but they make you sign papers and on the form there was a spot for a guardian to sign... and to me it sounded worse than it felt,.. good luck =]

i really want mine done!! Do you think i would be able to go to the piercing plaor myself (im 16) and just bring my ID card but not have any parental consent? Or do 16 yr olds need some sort of parental consent?

I had a friend who was in pain a lot after her tragus piercing. She got it done with similar conditions to me and she said the actually piercing wasn't so bad but walking around with it afterwards really hurt! she didn't get a lot of sleep with in either, saying she'd get a pain on her right side whenever she was lying on it. One thing we did share though was the fact that in the shower, even if we did get water on the piercing or when washing lotions, is that it didn't sting. Hope this helps :

I got my tragus done last week :) it hurt a little when getting it done, like someone was pinching my tragus for about 4 seconds, but afterwards it was fine, plus it being cold that day helped a lot with the ache afterwards. Sleeping on it was fine too, i tried everything i could to avoid sleeping on it but the next day i woke up sleeping on my left side (which is the side i got it done), and have slept regardless of it since. But don't take my case for granted.

i got mine done a week ago and it hurts for like 2 seconds and then it stays a little sore but it does not hurt as bad as my nose ring
