  • @mrsvioleta64 And then I will go to the occipital.. a lot massage in that area too.. along with the stretching of the neck.. The Technique is call ART. active release technique. Is a lot of work.. the result.. Just Great.. after that the client have to fallow the instruction about stretching is been done at her home.. otherwise the problem will come back again..

  • @mrsvioleta64 I will do to your mom.. First . she has one leg longer..if yes I will adjust that from the pelvis. Once that is done I will manipulate.. the socket of the head femur that is connected with the hip bone.. both legs.. after that I will stretch her back.. different position on the table. Some times I will take her out of the massage Table and I will do that sitting in a stool ..having sitting her on a stool.. I will manipulate rhomboid muscles .. a lot of stretching and massage.

  • This is correct.

    Great job

  • mom has constant headaches, with numb pain feeling on top of her head, forehead and burning sensation behind her eyes. (in her words) Blood tests, MRI’s, CAT scans show normal. Migraine headaches have been eliminated. Migraine medicine, seizures medicine, sinus medicine, have been used. Neurologist said she may, may have a muscular neurological problem…no medicine is helping her. No one can tell her what is the cause of this ongoing issue, how can it be treated. vth@verizon.net HELP PLS...

  • @palpateit You are correct. There are so many who spread misinformation, it starts to become accepted as the truth. I'd still take a massage from her though.

  • @palpateit I have heard for years that lactid acid causes pain. I guess I have now verify everything you are saying is true. Very interesting.

  • @palpateit great job on correcting the misconceptions. Glad im not the only one trying to get the facts. Thank you so much.

  • A few points:

    1) You incorrectly stated that:

    a)lactic acid causes pain,

    b)and causes trigger points.

c)You also stated that lactic acid builds ups in the muscle.

All are myths. Lactic acid is unused energy, not a waste product. Experiments show it actually increases endurance.

    2) You stated that lack of nutrients (Vit C, Calcium) impede blood flow. Did you mean lack of blood flow decreases available nutrients? Or where you attempting to described perpetuating factors for trigger points?

  • well explained. thanks for sharing
