@TheJoshBell i still have my dignity but i have to supress my pride otherwise i'll live in illusion (fantasy). ego is the root of chaos, pride is part of it. i rather call others just blinds not fools bcos the more i undermine others the bigger/higher my pride will become. foolishness=ignorant/lack of knowledge, human being will always be foolish in some extent, we cannot hold all knowledge in this universe.

@TheJoshBell compassion is definitely what would be on my mind. we can see what the earth was like as well- fossils provide a biological as well as environmental timeline...there is also plate tectonics and meteorology. there was never a 'perfect' place for humans on Earth, and by perfect i mean generally free of suffering or negative action/emotion etc

@aqualobster Is that what goes through our minds when we give money to the homeless? Or travel across the world to aid children in Africa? I personally don't think so. I understand where you're coming from though. And as for the geological evidence: there is evidence that there was an enormous flood that encrusted the entire earth, and it's impossible to see what the Earth was like before it. You know?

@legalAlien15 Says the guy with enough pride to post that. But wait... you can't have pride because you're NOT blind like all the fools around you! Right? haha :)

@sewellanne Well let's say God made nothing but Earth with different - simpler - laws...would people be saying the reverse argument of why God couldn't have created something more vaste and miraculous if he was as powerful as we say he is?

@TheJoshBell we have compassion and morals because we as organic beings dislike pain and suffering; and if we act on compassion it is more likely that there will be peace. Fairness does indeed concern each individuals life in the long run. The planet environmentally speaking was never perfect. ice ages, volcanoes, disease and overpopulation, etc. geologically the planet was always being destroyed or frozen over or desertified at some point.

@xxxx85 No no no. The bible and the writings about Jesus were written from primary resources. People who talked and walked with Jesus. I don't need go into detail because you need to do your own research to figure that out yourself. The Bible has never been disproven and has had other archeological evidence, cultural stories not associated with christianity, and documents to support it. I'm not a religious person, but when someone starts stating false information it's gets me upset.

@Fantasticlist I believe you are talking about AGAPE (Greek word for a class of love) - the love in which Jesus gave out to others; unconditional love.
