2.75" Custom mecanum wheels built with VEX parts by Leland from Green Egg Robotics Team at the start of the 2010-2011 VRC season. These wheels never were used in competition during the Round Up season.
They may this year but they still haven't decided on a design. Leland built these wheels early on in the Round Up season when the team was considering building a robot similar to the robot 254A ended up with. However, when they first put the wheels on a test robot it didn't drive well so they scrapped it. After discussing the problem with their friend DinerKid later in the season they realized that they had the wheels oriented incorrectly on the robot. They work fine now!
If these are legal wheels why doesn't green eggs use them at competitions?

@789Bill very cool. but how much weight can they hold, i mean the wheel is only connected by 4 standoffs and the small ends of the omni rollers.

I'm not sure. I know they have handled 10 pounds without any problems.
