Firefighter Pipe Bands from all over North America joined together for the Fallen Firefighter Memorial in Colorado Springs on Saturday, September 19, 2009.
Actually, the pipes were very easy to hear. The sound on the video is limited by the very directional nature of the camera's mic. We had a little trouble on the first tune, Scottland the Brave. But not bad for such a short amount of practice with variable skills and over 300 performers. Frankly, we all did our best and we were very honored to have a shot at it even if it wasn't perfect in some places. Rest in peace my sisters and brothers. We will remember! One of the Bass players....

Could you really not hear the pipes playing at the back of the drum line? That could explain a few things.
