Amy's funeral took place on Tuesday at a synagogue in North London following a quote funny eulogy filled with "stories about her childhood" by her father Mitch. Three days after Amy Winehouse was found dead, she has been cremated.
Hey everyone this is Ani Esmailian for Hollyscoop.com. Amy's funeral took place on Tuesday at a synagogue in North London following a quote funny eulogy filled with "stories about her childhood" by her father Mitch.
Quote People were laughing like a celebration. Like they all remembered the stories themselves," her spokesperson said.
Part of the hour-long service was in Hebrew, due to the singer's Jewish background. Amy's rep said: "It was emotional, it was happy and it was sad. It was everything really."
Stars like Mark Ronson and Kelly Obsourne attended the service. The memorial closed with Carole King's So Far Away playing, one of Amy's favorite songs. After the memorial everyone headed to the Golders Green crematorium.
Rest in peace Amy, you'll truly be missed!
