what if your console is banned how can you transfer it without the update please help??

@ufrhuif you can either download the update from Xbox.com and load it from disc, or you can remove the hard drive from the banned console, connect it to an unbanned console, get the update, then move it back to the banned console. (I haven't tried the last option since I don't have a banned console, but I've been told it 'should' work. Let me know your results.

@andzyyy It is an automatic update, you just need to connect to Xbox Live, you'll be asked to download the update once you sign in. Hope that was the answer you wanted, I was never known for my french and I'm assuming you are asking me "where is the download link".

@uncletwinkletoes123 There are some (very few) USB Drives that will not work. However, assuming you aren't interested in any data on the USB drive at the moment you can try this. Put the USB stick into your computer and then right click > format drive. (make sure you're selecting the right drive, the usb) When it asks for what format type most of the pre-selected options should be fine, just make sure it formats as FAT32, not NTFS. Then see if the Xbox 360 will detect it. Lemme know your results
